Goodreads Challenge: 80 books
Last year my target was 50 books and I managed to read 69. The first five months of the year was my final semester at university, so I was finishing off major essays, revising for exams, and reading books for class. I didn’t get much time to read what I wanted, so my reading really sped up once I finished university. With that in mind, I think 80 books is pretty reasonable, but I’m not going to stress if it gets to November and I’m short a dozen or so.
No more putting off big books
I have a handful of books that I’ve been putting off, some for years, because I’m intimidated by them or worried by how long they might potentially take me to read. I’m determined to read them this year. There’s six I have my eye on, all between 500 and 800 pages.
One non-fiction a month
I’ve really got into non-fiction this year! I want to make a conscious effort to read more though, so I’d like to try and read at least one non-fiction book a month. I have about 30 on my TBR so I’ve got plenty to keep me occupied!
