Remember when I finished the OWLs Magical Readathon and I was like, ‘Phew, glad I can go back to mood-reading now!’? Well, as it turns out, I can’t resist a good readathon and this Sims-themed one from BiancaReads looks amazing! I love the Sims, I think I’ve been playing for over fifteen years now? Obviously on-and-off, you fellow Simmers will know how it goes: you don’t touch the game for months and then suddenly you’re doing 12-hour Sim sessions and you haven’t seen daylight in a week.
Taking part in this year’s OWLs Magical Readathon has been so much fun! I managed to complete all the OWLs I needed for the career of Hogwarts Professor, plus two extras, giving me a total of nine and an overall grade of Outstanding!
One of my reading goals this year is to tackle my TBR. In my Spring Readspost, I mentioned some of the books that have been on my shelf the longest, some for two or three years, so when I came across The Unread Shelf Project, I knew it would be a perfect motivator to keep me focused on my plan.
A few days ago I came across Book Roast’s amazing Magical Readathon, and I’m so excited to start it on Monday! The Magical Readathon is definitely heavily rooted in Harry Potter but anyone can take part – Potter fans or not – because the books you choose to read are nothing to do with the series. G, the amazing human behind Book Roast, has clearly put so much work into creating this readathon, it’s really impressive!
I finally finished the POPSUGAR Reading Challenge for 2018, so here’s my final round-up for all forty books!
