Six For Sunday: Five Star Predictions

Six For Sunday is a weekly blog series created by Steph @ ALittleButALot. Prompts for April, May, and June 2020 are now up, and today’s prompt is Five Star Predictions! Here are six books from my TBR that I think I’ll end up rating a full five stars.

The Secret Commonwealth by Philip Pullman

I adore this series and I can’t wait to see grown-up Lyra!

The Long Way to a Small, Angry Planet by Becky Chambers

I don’t read sci-fi often but I tend to really love it when I do, and this has had fantastic reviews from fellow bloggers.

The Little Friend by Donna Tartt

I’ve loved everything I’ve read from Donna Tartt so I hope this will be no exception.

Blue Ticket by Sophie Mackintosh

The Water Cure wasn’t right for everyone but it was right for me and I can’t wait to see what Mackintosh’s second book will bring.

Bel Canto by Ann Patchett

I fell in love with The Dutch House, mainly because of Patchett’s writing, so I have high hopes for her most well-known novel.

Wolf Hall by Hilary Mantell

I’m shocked at myself for not having added this series to my TBR sooner, but I think this will be a fantastic start to a new favourite series.

Do you have any of these on your TBR?
Or have you read any already?

  1. Great list! I’ve never read Phillip Pullman and am not sure his books would be the right fit for me, but the rest of these I think would have 5 star potential for me as well. I’m currently reading Wolf Hall and really enjoying it so far! I hope you’ll end up loving all of these when you get to them! πŸ™‚
