This month’s round-up is coming at you a couple of days earlier than usual because today I’m heading to Prague! I’m probably landing in the Czech capital just as this post goes up, and I’m super excited to get away for a few days! I’m not counting on getting much reading done whilst here, but I hope I managed at least an hour on the plane.
I had a really fun month in January, full celebrating: my housemates and I threw a party (just because), it was my brother’s birthday, and a good friend had a house-warming. It was fun but definitely took its toll on my sleep!
Happy New Year! I’ll be doing the obligatory 2019 Round-Up post next week, but first I want to do my usual monthly round-up and talk about December real quick, because boy, was I busy.
I had a somewhat busy month in November – it was my birthday! I had lots of catching up to do with friends and also spent a few days at home with my parents. My reading definitely picked up though which I was grateful for. After a couple of months of reading only three books, I fared much better in November, finishing six books, including one that I started way back in July.
October has been such a great month for me! Let’s see what I got up to, what I read, and what else I’ve been loving this month.
Ah, September, where to start? Firstly, I read so little this month! After August’s whopping fifteen books, I only managed three in September – my slowest reading month since February. I read my first book, Crossfire, on the first day, but then it took me over two weeks to finish my second book, The Seven Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle! Those two weeks went by so fast, I didn’t even realise how little I’d read at first.
