Six For Sunday is a weekly blog series created by Steph @ ALittleButALot. Prompts for April, May, and June 2020 are now up, and May’s prompts are all about series! Today is the big one: favourite series. Once again, I’m recyling the same series as last week for this Six For Sunday post because I predominantly read standalones, but when I love a series I love a series hard. I’ve also only picked five because even though I’ve read other series and liked them, there weren’t any others that I felt as strongly about as I do these five.
Six For Sunday is a weekly blog series created by Steph @ ALittleButALot. Prompts for April, May, and June 2020 are now up, and May’s prompts are all about series! Today I’m talking about my favourite characters from series I’ve read. I also thought it would be fun to include fan art of my faves instead of photos from TV/film adaptations.
This week I’m fantasising about all the different careers I could have if I lived inside some of my favourite fantasy books!
Danni @ ForBooksSake tagged me to take part in this festive tag! I know I’m a little late with this one, but December really got on top of me – I was reading a fair bit but had no time to blog, so I’ve been catching up with everyone’s posts these past few days! I hope you’ll forgive me for extending the Christmas spirit just a little longer…
Hi all! I am having an insanely busy month and have barely had time to read anything, I’m real sad about it. As a result, I haven’t posted any reviews this week which is quite unlike me. However, I’ve had this tag sitting in my drafts for a while and as we’re halfway through the Hogwarts House Battle, I thought now would be a great time to do the First Year Hogwarts tag!
So the NEWTs Magical Readathon is coming to end, and despite previously saying I like to take some time off in between readathons, I’ve enjoyed NEWTs so much that I’ve decided to do another Harry Potter-themed readathon straight after, beginning September 1st!
It was recently announced that Harry Potter fans were being treated to four new Pottermore eBooks to further explore the magical world! The non-fiction works are each based on well-known Hogwarts lessons. They’ll form the ‘A Journey Through…’ series, which started with A History of Magic in 2017.
From sentient plants to globetrotting feminists, I plan my very own literary dinner party!
Happy Easter! I hope you’re all having a wonderful weekend however you’re spending it. We’ve had amazing weather here in London, so far I’ve spent most of this four-day weekend in the sunshine but today I think I’m going to cosy up with a book and work on my OWLs! This tag was created by Rosie the Reader, but I first saw it on Paperbacks and Planners. It looks super fun and I haven’t posted much this week so I thought I’d join in. I won’t tag anyone but drop you Easter Book Tag posts in the comments below so I can check out your answers if you do take part.
Tell Me Something Tuesday is a weekly book-themed discussion surrounding a question posed by Rainy Day Ramblings. This week’s question is: What are some of your favourite series that you would like to see revisited or a spin-off?
