Georgiana @ ReadersHighTea tagged me in the Liebster Award ages ago and I’ve finally got around to doing it! Thank you, Georgiana! This is the second time I’ve done this award tag – you can find my first answers here.
What is the Liebster Award?
“The Liebster Award is an award that exists only on the internet and is given to bloggers by other bloggers. The earliest case of the award goes as far back as 2011. Liebster in German means sweetest, kindest, nicest, dearest, beloved, lovely, kind, pleasant, valued, cute, endearing, and welcome.” — GlobalAussie

My answers to the questions:
What made you start a blog and do you have any favorite topics for your blog posts?
I finished my degree in English Literature and found I didn’t have anywhere to get all my bookish thoughts out, and since I was unemployed at the time I had plenty of time for reading and blogging! I think I enjoy doing readathon TBR posts the most; I love going through the prompts and deciding what fits best and planning my month ahead!
What is your favorite quality about yourself?
I don’t know… I think I’m a good friend? I love hard.
If you could move to a different town, state or country… where would you be?
I love Sweden so much; I lived there for a year during my undergrad and it’s such a beautiful country, I would love to live there if it wasn’t so far from my family and friends.
Other than blogging/writing what is the one favorite thing you LOVE to do?
Reading is the obvious answer! I feel like I have no other hobbies, to be honest.
What are your favorite creation(s) to date during the pandemic’s stay-at-home times (if you are expressing yourself creatively during this time)?
I haven’t been doing a lot creatively since I’m still working a lot, but I’ve been trying to bake a bit more. I made Biscoff Blondies a few weeks ago, and made jam from fruit picked at a local farm too! The jam also went into homemade mini Victoria sponge cakes for a picnic.
Where was one of the first places you went to after quarantine was over?
Is quarantine really over? Everything seems so vague here. When things started to relax a bit more the first thing I did was go strawberry picking with my bestie.
If a movie was made about your life, what actor would you like to cast in the leading role (as you)?
I have no idea. This is an interesting question. I’m afraid I don’t have an interesting answer.
Share seven facts about yourself.
I’m obsessed with anything blueberry flavoured or anything with blueberries in but I don’t ever really eat blueberries on their own.
I have a scar from the day I was born.
I have eight tattoos.
I’ve visited 22 countries, and 21 US states.
What is your favourite fictional place, and why?
Do you have a favourite piece of bookish memorabilia? It can be merch, or a signed book, whatever you like!
Favourite standalone novel that you wish had a sequel?
Can you read on public transport?
What’s your favourite TV/film adaptation of a book?
Are there any upcoming adaptations that you’re excited for?
What’s your number one dream travel destination, and a book that’s set there? You don’t have to have read it (yet)!
Have you ever been to a midnight release of a book, or a book signing event?
What’s the scariest book you’ve ever read?
And finally, a non-bookish question, because I need recommendations: favourite podcast?
If you like the look of these questions, consider yourself tagged!
I’ve seen The Liebster Award around a lot recently so I don’t know
who has and hasn’t been nominated. Tag me if you answer my
questions, I’d love to see your answers!
