The TBR Alphabet Tag

I’ve been seeing this tag around for a few days now, namely on The Antagonist Diaries and Lucy and A Cup Full of Tea, though this tag was originally started by Lily Anna Writes.

I like to think I’ve been making good progress on my TBR so this will be a good way for me to see what I’ve still got to go!

The rules are as follows:

  • Name a book title from your TBR for every letter of the alphabet (can exclude words like ‘the’ if needs be) – these must be books that you have physical/e-book copies of and not ones you intend on getting but haven’t yet
  • Try and include different authors for every single one
  • At the bottom of your list put how many you could fill in (out of 26)
  • Tag other people to join in and link back to the person who tagged you!

Here’s my list, with links to each book’s Goodreads page if you want to read a little more about the title.

A: All the Light We Cannot See by Anthony Doerr

B: The Binding by Bridget Collins

C: Convenience Store Woman by Sayaka Murata

D: Daisy Jones & The Six by Taylor Jenkins Reid

E: Everything I Know About Love by Dolly Alderton

F: Feel Free: Essays by Zadie Smith

G: The Great Alone by Kristin Hannah

H: Hot Milk by Deborah Levy

I: If We Were Villains by M. L. Rio

L: Living a Feminist Life by Sara Ahmed

N: Notorious RBG by Irin Carmon

P: The Pisces by Melissa Broder

R: Red Snow by Will Dean

S: Six Four by Hideo Yokoyama

T: Text Me When You Get Home by Kayleen Schaefer

U: The Uninhabitable Earth by David Wallace-Wells

V: Virgin: The Untouched History by Hanne Blank

W: Where the Line Bleeds by Jesmyn Ward

Y: You Have the Right to Remain Fat by Virgie Tovar

I managed 19 out of 26. I thought I’d manage more than that actually! I was surprised by the lack of M and O titles. I had a lot for letters B and S!

I’m reading really slow this month after the rush of April’s readathon, but hoping to tick a few of these off in May.
