Top 5 Wednesday: Signed Editions

Today’s Top 5 Wednesday is all about collectibles. I don’t collect a lot of ‘merch’ for books so I decided to do my favourite signed editions, and tell you a little bit about how I acquired each one!

Salvage the Bones
I have four of Jesmyn Ward’s books signed but this is the first one I read which made me fall in love with her writing. I had the chance to see her speak at the 2018 UEA Literature Festival and she held a book signing afterwards. I apologised for giving her so many books to sign and she was like ‘No way, are you kidding?!’ She was so sweet.

Norse Mythology
I’ve just read and reviewed this one. I don’t have an interesting story for how I got it, I simply pre-ordered the book from Waterstones so that meant I got a signed copy. I love the whole design of this book though, it’s so pretty and the dust jacket has that lovely velvet matte finish.

The House of Impossible Beauties
This is Joseph Cassara’s debut novel, which I won through a Pride Month themed Twitter competition hosted by the publisher, Oneworld Publications.

Top Five Wednesday is a weekly book meme hosted on Goodreads.
